Text every guest their table: screen from the SeatSpot app

How it works

  1. Add a phone number for each guest, by hand, from contacts or from a spreadsheet column.
  2. Open the Guest report and tap Text seats under Export.
  3. Edit the message if you like. First name, table, seat and event are filled in for each guest.
  4. Tap Text next to a guest, press Send in Messages, come back and confirm Sent.

Good to know

  • The list contains guests who are Attending, seated and have a phone number, in table and seat order.
  • If you move a guest after texting them, the row says moved since the last text and the button reads Text again.
  • SeatSpot cannot send a text by itself, because iPhone and Android do not allow it.
  • Your wording is kept with the event.
  • Texting seats is switched off in the sample event.
  • Texting guests their table is part of the free plan.
